On the 21st instant, Mrs. Hannah Welch, in the 95th year of her
age, after
a lingering illness which she bore with christian fortitude and resignation
to the will of God. She died in the hope of a blessed immortality.
She was
a member of the German Methodist Church in this city, for the last
30 years.
On Monday morning last, after a long and painful illness,
Abraham
Robinson, in the 62nd year of his age.
On Monday, 31st instant, Margaret Elizabeth, only daughter
of William and
Elizabeth Ann Duff, aged 6 months.
On the 15th Dec., at Key West, Fa., Mr. Thomas King, a
native of
Baltimore, aged 32 years. He left a wife and two children to
mourn their
loss.
In Washington, on the 27th inst., in the 83rd year of her
age, Mrs. Sarah
Davis, widow of Mr. Henry Davis, late of Alexandria, D.C.

On the morning of the 16th inst., James B. Bosley, in the 64th year
of his
age, leaving an affectionate wife and large family of children to mourn
their
irreparable loss. His affliction was short and severe, which
he sustained
with christian fortitude.
His friends and acquaintances are requested to attend
his funeral this
(Friday) afternoon, at half past two o'clock, from his late residence
in Eden
street, north Orleans, without further notice.
On the 16th inst., in the 26th year of her age, Mrs. Elizabeth
Lee, wife
of James Lee, after a painful illness of 7 months, which she bore with
christian fortitude.
Her friends and acquaintances are respectfully requested
to attend her
funeral this (Friday) afternoon, 17th inst., at 3 ½ o'clock,
from her late
residence in Charles street.
On the morning of the 16th inst., at his residence in Buren
street,
Benjamin Earlaugher, aged 32 yeas.
His remains will be taken to Ellicotts' Mills, to morrow
(Saturday)
morning, at 8 o'clock. His friends and acquaintances are respectfully
invited to attend.
On the 15th inst., after a short but severe illness, William,
second son
of I.P. and Eliza Shannon, aged 20 years, 10 months and 15 days.
His
urbanity and amiable disposition endeared him to all his friends.
The friends of the family are requested to attend his
funeral, from his
father's residence, Wilk, near Exeter street, the (Friday) evening,
at 3
o'clock.
On the 13th inst., Tobitha Hayes, relict of the late Reverday
Hayes, in
the 56th year of her age.
On Sunday evening, 12th inst., Mrs. Rachel Cross, relict
of Andrew Cross,
in the 63d year of her age.
On the coast of Africa, on the 7th Dec. last, on board
the schr Naumkeag,
of Salem, Robert Norris, of Baltimore, aged 27 years.

RAMSAY -- On Friday morning, 3d inst., Mr. JOSEPH RAMSAY, in the 57th year of his age. The male acquaintances of the deceased are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, on Sunday afternoon, at half past two o’clock, from his late residence, Market street, Fell’s Point, without further notice.
GIFFORD -- On Friday evening, 3d inst., ROBERT GIFFORD, aged 23 years and 3 days. The relatives and friends of the deceased are requested to attend his funeral, from the residence of his mother, Pitt street, between Caroline and Eden, on Sunday morning, at 10 o’clock, without further invitation.
